  Brett Bryant’s representation as a lawyer is highly inadequate and unprofessional. His failure to address charges promptly leaves clients in a prolonged state of uncertainty while incarcerated, forcing them to confront unresolved legal matters upon release. This approach demonstrates a lack of diligence and disregard for clients’ well-being, resulting in unnecessary stress and complications. I strongly advise seeking alternative counsel who prioritizes timely and effective resolution of legal issues. Responding to cinques dismissive response No, Cinque, this review was not left in error. I am David Tuaine, and Brett Bryant was my lawyer in 2023. Your firm most definitely represented me, and the experience was exactly as I described. Far from being a mistake, my original review actually understated the extent of the neglect. Brett Bryant’s failure to communicate, his delays in addressing serious charges, and the prolonged uncertainty he allowed while I was incarcerated caused real and lasting harm. At the time, I wrote a restrained account because I was still processing the damage and hoped to move on. Had I fully understood then how far below basic professional standards his conduct fell—standards that lawyers are legally and ethically bound to meet—I would not have stopped at a Google review. I would have taken the matter to the Legal Services Commissioner and formally reported the breaches of duty. Your attempt to dismiss a legitimate complaint by suggesting “error” or mistaken identity is, itself, unprofessional. It looks like an effort to bury criticism rather than address it. Clients who have been let down deserve acknowledgment, not deflection. I stand by every word of the original review, and I now regret not making the complaint stronger and more formal when I had the chance. Potential clients reading this should know that this firm’s response to criticism is to question the client’s memory rather than examine its own performance. Seek counsel elsewhere.

  Never have I felt so brushed off by legal professionals. No reply after my first meeting with them; despite me reminding them twice. Brett clearly had no interest in my case ; was late to the meeting and I felt I was an annoyance, that he couldn’t wait to get out of the office. Brett’s reply to my review was absolute B.S. I wish I could nominate zero stars.

  Found the Brett Byrant is the worst solicitor to consult in Ballarat. Has no responsibliblity and treats you like dirt. Sick of chasing this guy down. You have to hound his office and legal assistant to even get appaiontment, Pay him any money for advice and this guy runs away and hides, Excuses like we didnt see youre email, mesages just go by the way side. AVOID THIS FIRM LIKE THE BLACK PLAGUE. find decent laywer that with respect you and defend you tooth and nail. This firm certainly wont .
